SAT 4 Point Increase

The Bullseye Prep SAT Curriculum was developed by our founder, Ben Smith, who has scored a perfect 1600 on the official SAT. Ben took a scientific approach to analyzing the SAT by taking all the SAT tests that have been released over the past five years and categorizing every question by the test strategy needed to answer it.

Ben created a database of more than 2,000 questions from these tests, and calculated which types of questions appear most often on the SAT. Then, he formulated the Bullseye Prep course around teaching students the most important concepts on the ACT.

In fact, this is where the name Bullseye Prep came from. The course hits the bullseye by teaching students all the concepts that could possibly appear on the ACT, but doesn’t waste their time with concepts that won’t improve their scores. It is truly “All the test prep you need, nothing more.”

Bullseye Prep teachers are the best in the test prep industry.

All Bullseye Prep instructors have the following qualifications:

  • Scored a 99th percentile or above on the test they are teaching. For the SAT this 1500 or above, and on the SAT 34 or above.

  • Have thousands of hours of teaching and tutoring experience. Many of our instructors have been teaching the SAT and SAT for a decade or more.

Targeted SAT and SAT Videos

Every Bullseye Prep course and tutoring package comes with access to our full video curriculum. We have videos that explain every strategy for the SAT and the ACT. Also, the video curriculum includes a full explanation of how to solve every problem that is assigned in every course. Most other test prep companies will charge hundreds of extra dollars for access to their video curriculum, but at Bullseye Prep, it’s included in every course.

Each coursre will come with 27 hours of video content. 12 hours of recorded online session, available after each class. 15 hours of recorded videos that teach all 147 Bullseye Prep SAT strategies.

Classes will cover SAT practice problems and SAT strategies for Reading, Writing, Reading, and Math. At the beginning of most classes, the instructor will review problems from the most recent SAT practice that the students took. Then, the instructor will teach Bullseye Prep’s SAT strategies in an interactive way. During instruction, students will work out SAT problems related to each strategy that is taught.

Students can get started right away! Before the first scheduled class, students can take the diagnostic test, which will help pinpoint their weaknesses. Also, there is 15 hours of video content available for students to watch at any time. In other words, there is plenty of learning that takes place before the first live course.

The course starts with a diagnostic SAT test that will pinpoint a student’s weaknesses. From there, students will start viewing on-demand videos for the areas highlighted by the diagnostic test. Next, students will attend 12 live online classes, during which they can ask the instructor questions, and learn SAT strategies from someone who scored a 1550 or above. Students will take one real SAT practice test per week, in addition to completing homework problems.

Each live class will be recorded, so students will be able to watch the class later. However, students must attend all live sessions in order to qualify for the guarantee.

The standard path is for students to take an ACT or SAT course the summer after their 10th grade year of high school. The reasoning is that most college bound students have finished Algebra II and Geometry by this time, and so they are ready, in terms of math knowledge. Of course, each student’s case is unique, and so there is no reason to stick to the standard plan as a hard and fast rule. The important thing is that a student has completed Algebra II first.

There is very little difference between the SAT and ACT. While many people think the bigger difference is that the ACT has an extra section - Science - the bigger difference is timing. The pace of the ACT is much quicker than the pace of the SAT. However, something like 95 percent of students will score in nearly the same percentile on both tests. A student who scores a 27 on the ACT, the 85th percentile, will most likely get about a 1300 on the SAT, also the 85th percentile. Colleges will look at the scores as equivalent. However, some states give awards to students based on their scores on one test or the other. For instance, the ACT is highly favored in Nevada, and students can earn scholarships for doing well on it.

Bullseye Prep has the best and simplest guarantee in the test prep industry. If your student takes our course, attends the classes, and does the work, we guarantee his or her SAT score will improve by 200 points. See the details.

Students will be given a link to the online class. Students will watch the instructor reach live, and will be able to ask questions, as well.

This course is capped at 15 students. This means the instructor will answer most students’ questions. Many other online SAT prep courses are capped at 60 or even 100, giving students virtually no ability to ask a question of an instructor.
