College admissions consulting, with Ben.
One-on-one planning for Las Vegas families, from the first college conversation in junior year through the deposit on May 1. Ben works with the student and the parents together, on a schedule built around the real deadlines.

Who you'd be working with
Ben Smith has taught AP Seminar, AP Research, and history at the high-school level and has coached college essays for years. He founded Bullseye Prep and still teaches every SAT cohort himself. He is completing UCLA Extension's College Counseling certificate (Fall 2026).
Every meeting is with Ben. There is no handoff to an associate.
The money conversation, the list, and the final decision all involve parents, so the meetings are planned that way.
If the SAT is part of the plan, the same person runs it, on the same calendar as the applications.
Nobody can promise an admission or an aid offer, and Ben won't. The commitment is that every step on the timeline gets done, on time, in the student's own voice.
Three ways to work together
Every package starts with the free planning call and covers the full two-year timeline. The two larger ones fold SAT prep into the same plan.
Junior year through May 1: the self-assessment, the money conversation, the senior-year course and testing plan, college research and visits, a balanced list with net prices, the activities list, recommendation requests, every essay and supplement, the FAFSA and CSS Profile, application tracking, aid-offer comparison and appeals, and decision day.
Book a free planning call →Everything in Comprehensive, plus a seat in the live 6-week SAT course (normally $1,800): twelve sessions with Ben, the three Bullseye books, and twelve months of dashboard access. The course's 200-point guarantee applies to the course.
Book a free planning call →Everything in Comprehensive, plus 20 hours of private SAT tutoring with Ben (normally $300 an hour). Sessions are scheduled around the student, with full dashboard access between them. Tutoring isn't covered by the 200-point guarantee.

Twenty minutes with Ben and the parents: where the student is, what the family needs, and whether a package makes sense. If it doesn't, Ben will say so.
Comprehensive on its own, or with the SAT course or tutoring folded in, so test prep runs on the same calendar as the applications.
Month by month, junior year through senior fall: the list, the essays, the forms. Every step ends with something the student actually does. The full roadmap is on the two-year planning timeline.
Compare the aid offers line by line, appeal where it's warranted, take any waitlist steps, and submit the deposit on time.
Common questions
Juniors and seniors and their parents, mainly in Las Vegas and Clark County. The Comprehensive package is built to start in January of junior year, but a senior starting in August can still use most of it.
In person in Las Vegas, or online. Both work, and most families mix the two.
The SAT course is about one test. Consulting is about the whole application: the list, the money, the essays, the forms, and the decision. The two larger packages include test prep so one person runs both.
No. The student writes every word. Ben brainstorms with them, reads drafts, and marks what isn't working. The voice stays the student's.
For brainstorming and catching errors, yes, and Ben shows the student how to do that without it writing for them. Submitting AI-written work is not something Ben will help with.
No, and nobody honestly can. Admission and aid decisions belong to the colleges. What Ben commits to is that every step gets done, on time, and done well.
